If you are the owner of a ZawieCo kitten, you'll remember that one of the first questions I asked you was,
Bengals are very social cats and they have tons of energy! When left alone for long periods of time (especially on a regular basis), they often get bored. This boredom may lead to an unhappy cat, or an over mischievous cat.
Having a buddy makes a Happy Cat, and a happy cat makes a happy owner:-)
I will let a few of my kitty's "Moms and Dads" (and their pictures) speak for themselves.....
Apollo and Blaze
Apollo and Blaze are wonderful! Anyone that asks me about them, I just always make sure I mention that you should never have just one... especially if you're not home. They really are more like dogs and want and need a lot more of our love and attention than regular cats.
We have actually started calling Apollo White Dog 😁 He does everything the dogs do! When Dallas starts barking and getting excited because someone is home, Apollo will run up right in front of him and start meowing and getting in on the initial greeting.
After about a week of letting them smell each other through a closed doorway, I hesitantly opened the door to let them meet face to face. My 2 year old Bengal boy Leo and little Sammie immediately began to play together. They have bonded and become best of buddies. They can now keep each other entertained all day when I am at work. It was the best decision I could have made for my cat's well-being and emotional health.
I just wanted to thank you for such an amazing kitten. We love Asia dearly and definitely have hours of entertainment from her. When we first spoke you suggested 2 kittens as you said you felt Bengals needed an active buddy. Considering I have 2 dogs, I thought Asia would be fine and you agreed it was worth a try.
In the end, I have to say you were right!!! Asia needs another Bengal to keep up with her. The dogs just are not on the same level as her, and they can not keep up with her energy.
I would like to say you are right in suggesting to purchase Bengals in pairs!!! This is why I am now purchasing my second Zawieco Bengal from you only a couple of months later. I can't wait to get him!!!!
Asia and her new little buddy Cooper:-)
You could not be more spot on about Bengals needing a buddy!! There was always something missing in Archer's life.. now that he has his baby brother DaVinci, he is so much happier! The two are just in love with each other! They're pretty much inseparable! Thank you so much for DaVinci! I love him so much!! You really give meaning to "hand raised little lovables". I couldn't have asked for a better fur baby than DaVinci!!!!
They are great together!
We're very happy about having a pair (especially two from the same litter), because we're at work during the day and they have each other’s company. You can see they have a special bond. We often come home and find them cuddling together.

Sisters and partners in crime!!
Within the first few days of adopting our first kitten Nikko, I knew we made a mistake in not getting a second one. Nikko is wonderful, he is super playful, and super loving. But for the 6 months that he was by himself, he was constantly needing attention, he would meow a lot, wake us up a ton, and there wasn't much I could do other than give him as much attention as possible. I could truly see how lonely he was.
When we got Sebastian, all of our lives changed. Sebastian and Nikko are inseparable, they are the cutest little brothers =)
They play together, wrestle, run around, cuddle, do everything together! Whenever we walk through the door, we ALWAYS have to give them attention, they come running to be pet and rubbed on their backs.
They ask for a ton of love, and it just melts my heart!
To anyone wanting a Bengal, I would highly recommend getting two if you have no other pets at home, they will be happier kitties, and you will be a happier parent!
(I woke up with them cuddled in bed with me.....)
My sister and brother bengals, Zeke and Chloe, are great buddies! I see them playing with each other, grooming each others ears and head, playing hide and seek. Each has their own personality and can be independent as well. I don't worry about them being lonely when I am at work, they entertain each other. I think having 2 bengals is the best, and I wouldn't want it any other way! Thank you Lori!

Kimber has been with our Doberman Pinscher named Ruger from the time Ruger was 8 weeks old and now Kimber thinks he weighs 90 pounds just like his canine friend. Kimber calls for Ruger and Ruger comes running. Both of them being high energy animals, they play and play and play and seem to never run out of energy! We recently got a little rescue Siamese and Kimber and him are crazy together. Energy! Haha.

"I can't imagine having just one bengal without another cat or dog to play with. My two bengals get along so well and love to roughhouse and chase each other for hours every day. It keeps them active and stimulated to have a partner in crime, and it might be the cutest thing in the world when they groom and look after each other. There's so much added benefit to having two versus one and conveniently there's very little added work."

Kismet is doing great! She and our other Bengal Harlow are inseparable! Now that it is warm again, they love to sun themselves in the pool cage!
As you can see from our pictures "Latte Macchiato Silky Sprinkles" is fitting in wonderfully with our mini zoo. There is never a dull moment around here. It is pretty fun to watch all 4 dogs, the 2 cats and the pig playing each day. They have a blast!
Bengals and their pups
Bogie loves his Chihuahua sister Lexie!
-Dillon and Courtney
Kimba and his Pom
We were a little apprehensive at first that our overly playful poodle puppy Lucy would be a little too overwhelming for our new Bengal kitten, Oliver, but right away they became fast friends! They do everything together, from wrestling matches to naps. They will often choose to drink from the same water bowl, side by side, and even share Lucy's dog bed. We couldn't be happier at how sweet they are to each other. They are best buddies for sure :)
The Glassman Family
Everyone loves a dear friend, a companion.
And no one likes to be alone, including our furry friends. Two, together, share an abundance of playful moments, warm tenderness and companionship.
The bond runs deep.
When you're not home, they have each other. When you are there, you are blessed with double the amount of joy! Yes, two is better than one! Especially Bengals!!!

Love by the Bundle, Bengals by the Pair.
When Paul & I went to pick up our new Bengal baby, I was over the top, happily surprised to find out that I was actually taking home TWO sister kittens.
Paul conspired with Lori to surprise me with 2 babies, instead of 1. Best gift(s) of my life! Secretly, I was just a little concerned that the kittens might bond more to each other than to me... Boy, was I WRONG. Bengals are very smart and loving. Perla & Tiki have 2 separate personalities, and at times compete with each other for our attention.
They have each other to play and sleep with when we are not available. They clean each other, especially the face and ears, which they do as only they can. I melt watching them together.
Pure joy, unconditional love.
I think these two pics say it all about kitty love!!
Two bengals are better than one. Sunny was obviously missing something in his life as the family cat. He just did not seem happy as an only, albeit pampered kitty.
Finally, after 6 years we decided maybe he needed a feline companion and so entered Kokomo.
Now, take a look at these pics and see if you agree... Sunny is a very happy
cat now that he has his beautiful Koky.
My wonderful Bengal, Murray, and his two brothers, Remy and Carlisle, are best buddies.
Obviously from separate litters, but these three have been close from the moment they met.
Sometimes I think they could do without me entirely, as long as they have each other. But then again, I am the opener of the tuna!
I always love reading your kitty news.
I agree about the kitty couples that is why we met.
I am attaching a typical picture of Willie and the lovely Hollyberry from ZawieCo...
All the best, DJ
I'm so happy I got a second Bengal!
Sometimes I travel for work and have to leave for a week. Nahla used to get so depressed :-(
That was until I got Ardilla!! Now they keep each other entertained all day, and Nahla is much more comfortable and confident.
My workload hasn't really changed, how much more effort is it to put down one more bowl of food?
Well worth the investment in my Cats mental and emotional health!"
Lola met Zenki yesterday.
She was a little timid at first,
but now she can't get enough of him!
They are way happier than if they were alone. I'm happier too... If they didn't have each other, I would be completely worn out because they have so much energy! At nap time there are at least two or three of the cats curled up in a fur pile together. All four of them run and play tag and chase each other up and down the cat trees. I think they also keep each other out of mischief when I'm not at home because they have each other to keep from getting bored.
We decided that our boy cat Ernie (at the time 10yrs old) needed a playmate. He had lots of energy and watching him beg for playtime was just so sad.
We found ZawieCo Bengals and knew this was our right breeder match.
Within just a week of Ernie meeting Amber they became fast friends.
They play together, sleep together, and love on one another just as we hoped they would.
The best unexpected surprise is our other cat, Athena (age 16) who isn't very cat friendly, started playing with them about 6 months ago! Amber just LOVES to play chase and she will keep at it with Athena and her human BFF, me :)
It is great to see how they have bonded.
They are a great pair and make every day better for me.
